The arrangement of Manhatta, by Michael Nyman and arranged by Andy Keenan was commissioned for the Bang on a Can All-Stars with generous support from the River to River Festival and World Financial Center Arts & Events.
Overvoltage Rumble, by Annie Gosfield, was commissioned for the Bang on a Can All-Stars with the generous support of the members of the Bang on a Can People's Commissioning Fund, the Jerome Foundation, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
Pelog Slendro, by Dewa Ketut Alit, was commissioned by Gamelan Galak Tika as part of Dewa Ketut Alit's residency as a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Ngaben, by Evan Ziporyn, was commissioned by the New England Conservatory with additional support from the NIB Foundation.
World to Come, by David Lang, was commissioned for Maya Beiser by the Carnegie Hall Corporation, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, UC Santa Cruz Arts & Lectures, On the Boards, and Connecticut College, with support from Meet the Composer.
The Bang On a Can Marathon is co-produced by the River to River Festival (R) and World Financial Center Arts & Events.
