Bang on a Can

Patti Monson is a flutist and director of the Manhattan School of Music Contemporary Ensemble TACTUS. She is also faculty at the Bang On a Can Summer Institute, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and the Perlman Institute. Monson has been a guest performer in festivals around the world and has previously recorded on CRI, Koch, Sony Classical, Albany Label and Nonesuch Records. Monson holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the Yale University School of Music.
