Compositional Recreations One

The subtitle of this piece is "Black 5 Vs. White 7 In 3 + 4 Time" Which defines the intitial conditions. It is the first in a series of chamber pieces and an homage to Martin Gardner who, among other things, created the Mathematical Recreations column for Scientific American. The second piece in this series will be written for the French ensemble Art Zoid and will premiere in 2006.
